NIMIA has no account, no telemetry, no analytics and no crash reporting. It collects nothing about you, and left alone it sends nothing anywhere.
Two features can send something. Both are yours to switch on, and each one has a section below saying exactly what it sends.
Your settings, your saved scenes and presets, and the paths to any music you import. They are written to the app's own folder on your PC and are never sent anywhere. Removing the app removes them.
On its default music source, NIMIA makes no network requests at all. That is not a claim about intent. The app's entire network activity was captured on a clean profile, and the capture contains no request that leaves the machine.
NIMIA uses YouTube API Services. Switch the music source to YouTube in Settings and the app opens a YouTube player window that plays what you ask it to.
That window is YouTube. While you use it, Google receives information about your use of it exactly as it would in a browser, and Google's own terms and privacy policy govern what happens to it. NIMIA holds no Google account, no login and no API key, and it does not read, store or transmit anything about what you watch.
The one thing NIMIA keeps is a list of the videos you added, stored on your PC in the app's own folder so the list survives a restart. It is never uploaded, and entries expire and are refreshed rather than kept indefinitely.
Switching the source back to the built-in library ends all of it. The local server the player needs starts only when you switch to YouTube, so a default installation never opens one.
Settings → Session → Discord Status is off until you turn it on. Turned on, NIMIA tells the Discord program already running on your PC what you are doing, and Discord shows it under your name to whoever can see your profile.
NIMIA passes this to the Discord program on your own computer through a local channel. It opens no internet connection of its own, sends no account and no identifier, and tells Discord nothing about you that Discord does not already know. What Discord then does with it is governed by Discord's own privacy policy. Switching the setting off stops it and clears the status.
No microphone, no camera, no location, no contacts, and no files other than the ones you choose to import.
NIMIA is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, whatever their age.

The short version. You bought a licence to use NIMIA on your own machines. The bundled recordings came from other people under open licences and stay under those licences. Two optional features connect you to YouTube and to Discord, and those companies' own terms apply when you use them. NIMIA is sold as it is, with no promises about fitness for any particular purpose.
A personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use NIMIA on machines you own or control, for as long as you like, online or offline. There is no subscription and nothing expires. You do not own the software, and you may not resell it, redistribute it, or take it apart to ship it as something else.
The 104 recordings that ship with NIMIA are not the developer's work. They come from Freesound, OpenGameArt and the Free Music Archive under CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA and one royalty-free licence, and every author is credited inside the app under Settings → Credits.
Playing them through NIMIA at your table, on a stream, or in a recording of your session is what they are there for and needs nothing from you.
Using a file outside NIMIA is governed by that file's own licence, not by this one. CC0 files ask nothing. CC BY files require attribution. CC BY-SA files require attribution and require you to release your version under the same licence. Settings → Credits names the licence for every file. Music you import stays yours and stays on your machine. NIMIA reads the files you point it at and never uploads them, and nothing in these terms gives anyone a claim over them.
The YouTube music source is off until you choose it. By using it you agree to be bound by YouTube's Terms of Service, at youtube.com/t/terms, and Google's Privacy Policy applies, at google.com/policies/privacy
NIMIA does not modify, replace, interfere with or block YouTube's advertising, and you may not use NIMIA to try to. Not every video will play: owners can forbid embedding, and many music rights-holders do. When that happens NIMIA says so and offers to open the video in your browser instead.
The Discord status is off until you turn it on. What it publishes is listed in the privacy policy. Discord's own terms govern Discord.
NIMIA is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. It plays audio on a computer you control, and it cannot promise that a particular machine, driver, or third-party service will cooperate. Nothing here limits rights you have under Czech or EU consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
NIMIA is sold through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft is the seller, and Microsoft's purchase, payment and refund terms govern the transaction. Refunds go through Microsoft, not through the developer.
